Mark your calendars and prepare your appetites – the 2012 Taste of Cincinnati is just two and a half weeks away. Free to attend, the Memorial Day weekend event offers visitors a sampling of food and entertainment from around Greater Cincinnati.
A list of participating restaurants and entertainment has not been released yet, but expect an update once it has been. Accompanying the event is a beer and wine tasting, held on Saturday and Sunday evenings on Fountain Square. The beer and wine tastings require guests pre-register and are $15 per person or $25 for two people, including a souvenir beer pint and/or wine glass.
The Taste of Cincinnati USA is held every Memorial Day weekend in downtown Cincinnati since 1979 and is now the nation’s longest running culinary arts festival. It is also one of the nation’s largest, attracting about 500,000 people. The event serves to highlight the region’s food and entertainment giving visitors a taste of Cincinnati.
